You can't beat the Convento Santo Domingo

We've stayed at the Hotel Convento Santo Domingo twice and have loved it both times. The rooms are intimate and charming, the bathrooms big and modern. The prices are extremely reasonable- where else can you get a fabulous resort for these prices?
At night, the hotel becomes positively magical with all the candlelight! The flowers are beautiful as well, both those growing and the many arrangements all over the lobby area.
The food is fabulous and also quite moderately priced.
The last time we were there, we had a couple of events there, and the banquet staff was great to work with. They did just the menu we wanted and took great care of us.
For kids, the pool is tremendous, and the ruins on property fascinating. The views from the 2nd story areas are beautiful, too. I can't think of anything but good things to say about this property.
