Describe a normal day at your school as a student.

7:15 am One delicious and nutritious breakfast with the Guatemalan host family
8:00 am The Spanish class starts
10:30 am Break, here you can interact with other students and teachers, also you can play ping pong in our courtyard to have more fun and relax yourself.
11:00 am The Spanish class starts again with renewed energy.
1:00 pm The Spanish class finishes
1:30 pm Guatemalan lunch with the host family. In Guatemalan lunch is the biggest meal during the day.
2:30 pm Some days we have extra activities, but other days our students can plan their own time (visiting coffee shops, internet, just exploring the city, etc.)
8:00 pm A good dinner with the host family during this time you can share with the family what kind of activities you did during the day, also you can comment with the different members of the family the new things that you learned in class and while walking in the city.
9:00 pm Students can visit bars, night clubs, discoteques, etc. There a lot of places where you can go and have fun at one affordable price.

What are the activities available after class?

Field trips in the city and surrounding of the city like some indigenous villages, one place where you can drink chocolate while learning about cacao history and meaning for the Mayan people, visits to some interesting places in Quetzaltenango, films about the Guatemalan history and culture, etc.

How much does one course cost, and what does it include?

From September to May one week is $140 USA dollars. From June to August one week is $150 USA dollars. It includes: 5 days of Spanish lessons, 5 hours per day, 7 days of room and board with one Guatemalan family, 3 meals per day and our extra activities.

Do you provide accommodations?

Yes, with nice and friendly Guatemalan host families that are located nearby our school.
What other services do you offer (transportation to the airport, tours, etc.)?

Yes, we can arrange pick up service at the airport at an affordable and reasonable price. If you arrive in Guatemala City late we can book a safe, nice but not expensive hotel so that you can come to Xela next day.

We select our teachers and host families carefully. We have structured our own curriculum and can customize it according to each student needs and interests. We don't share teachers or host families with other Spanish schools.

All our teachers have university degrees in several fields also all of them have a solid knowledge of the Spanish grammar and know very well the methods to teach this language to foreign students. We don't use gimmicks to attract students; we prefer recommending ourselves by doing a good job with our students.
