Spanish Christian Music: Refrescate

Aline Barros is off to a wonderful start with her career as a singing artist. Refrescate is a solid album and the title itself is already refreshing and moving especially to the Christian community. The album is an amazing compilation of songs with very strong messages that brings out the values and faith of Christians. Aline has a powerful vocals that can lead people to praise and worship. She can handle ballads and driving rhythms without nay flaws. The good thing about this album is that the lyrics are easy to understand and to listen to.

I enjoyed the duet “Para darte toda Gloria y honor” because aside from the fact that the message of giving glory and honor to the Lord is very strong but I also believe that Aline did an amazing job on how she controlled the tempo and her voice is very comforting. Most of the tracks are great especially the “O Dios mi Dios”, “Amarte”, and “Pon Aceite en mi vida”. The first time I listened to this album, I was very excited by how the next song is going to sound like.

Aline Barros has become one of my female favorites when it comes to Christian music. I can’t wait for another album because I know that she has the potential of becoming a front runner in this genre.
