Spanish Christian Music: Melodias Para Cristo

This album is praise and worship with the Latin style. All the songs have been remarkably arranged with the Latin rhythm that makes the listening experience enjoyable. At first, you can’t tell that it is actually a Christian song because it seems like it is one of those Latin CDs for cardio exercise. The message of the songs is more focused giving praises to the Lord. Some songs are already familiar to the ears and you might have heard one or two from church.

Listening to this album is a two way experience of celebrating life with the Lord and loving the Latin culture and music. The Spanish songs are very interesting and how much more if they are played in a Latin rhythm. I like the songs “Voy a Prosperar”, La Paloma de amor”, and Maraviloso Mi Señor” not because of the rhythm but because of the strong messages of celebration and praise to the Lord.

If you are not a fan of the Latin music and rhythm, this album should not be on your collection. But if you want to explore, Melodias Para Cristo will definitely give you a unique experience of the Christian music. I am surprisingly interested with this album and I did not regret having one on my CD rack.
