Spanish Christian Music: Llueve

The dynamic duo, Juan Carlos and his wife Evelyn Herrera, has come up with an amazing album that is definitely a must buy. The perfect combination of soulful and angelic vocals singing to a contemporary beat. All songs are interesting and surprising to hear. The Latin beat mixed with soul is very unique.

My personal favorite is Desde El Principio in Pop/Cumbia Version. I enjoy the R&B beat plus the Latin mood. The song is just exemplary that you can’t imagine it being a Christian song. Other favorites are Espiritu Santo and Eres which has a different feel of reggae mix. Eres is a contagious song that you’ll just have to repeat the song over and over again. The album actually included most of the hits by Tercer Cielo especially the songs perfect for couples, the Enamorados and El Uno Para El Otro, and Llueve whose lyrics is inspiring.

I highly recommend the album Llueve for all Christians especially those that are in tune with R&B. And for those who want to be surprised at every song, Llueve is a must buy. You just don’t know what to expect from the album until you get to hear all the songs in it.
