Juan Carlos has a different way of singing Christian songs through the album Hollywood. R&B is the soul of his music and hip hop. This is a very interesting album especially for those who enjoy the contemporary style of Christian music. I am pleasantly surprised by how the songs are compiled to create rockier beat.

Si No Estas Junto A Mi is a great opening for the album. The song talks about giving gratitude for the Lord’s blessings that He has continually showered us. The album has a number of hits including the Cada dia which is a dialogue between a mother and prodigal child. This happens a lot in present times and oftentimes, mothers give up. But despite the R&B feel of the song, you will still realize and understand the true meaning of the message. Another hit is Vuelve A Soñar which gives you hope during tough times. Afortunados is a personal favorite because of the hip hop beat. I am big fan of hip hops that I was so surprised by how Juan Carlos come up with this style of Christian songs.

The songs in this album inspires the new generation that you can still worship the Lord and sing Christian songs without humming the usual praise and worship melodies.
