Spanish Christian Music: Gotta Have Musica Cristiana

The first time I listened to this album, I was moved by how strong the messages of each song are. The ballads have been arranged perfectly and you can tell how each singer is sincere of their worship to the Lord. The album is an amazing compilation of most of the Christian ballads that have been popular and sung in churches. There are some ballads that have been arranged to add a Latin rhythm that makes it more interesting to listen to.

A couple of my favorites from this album are the starter “De Creer en Ti”, Me testimonio, Canta El Señor, and Mi Iglesia. The messages of these songs are very moving and the lyrics are so strong and deep that made me want to just spend the whole day giving praises to the Lord. I just think that the songs “Dios El Alegre” and “Mi maestro” be added in this compilation although the messages are the same but it was more on the upbeat and contemporary side.

I like this album but I enjoyed the Gotta Have Musica Cristiana 2 more than this first compilation. But if you enjoy Christian ballads, you will also enjoy this first album.
