Josh Lopez has a vocal style that is similar to a pop-soul infused musical style. His voice is clear as he sings his praises and worship to the Lord. The songs are easy to the ears that create a very refreshing worship experience with the Lord. The album is actually an amazing collection of his songs that are open and honest. Another good thing about the album “Free to Live” is that you can think about how great God is while you are dancing and singing along in His presence.

The album starts out with “Free to live” that is a perfect wake up call to everyone that we are free because God gave us freedom. The song is worth the first spot and after listening to it, you will actually want to listen more of what is inside the album. I believe that the song “I need you Jesus” should be just somewhere between the 2nd or 3rd song because it is my personal favorite. It is like singing my cry to the Lord that I need Him especially during my tough times.

The RnB beat plus Josh Lopez’ amazing vocals create a contemporary approach to praise and worship. There are also slow songs that are meant to inspire the listeners. And if you enjoy soulful and message-driven songs, then you will love this album.
