Spanish Christian Music: Beauty Has Grace

I am big fan of Jaci Velasquez since her first album and the album release of “Beauty has grace” is another two thumbs up. Jaci has evolved from ballads to upbeat songs and I like how she becomes versatile with her music. The first few albums were more of the ballad side but recently, her songs have become upbeat. It is a good thing though because she can showcase her voice in different tempos. But I honestly just like her with the ballads. Her vocals are more impressive when she sings slower beats because she sounds more sincere.

What I like about this album is that there is an element of surprise for the next track. Jaci has combined ballad, upbeat, and there is a feel of country music especially the song “Reason to Believe”. “I’m not looking down” is a great introductory song and you can have a firsthand prediction of what the album is really about. All the songs never lost their message which is about trusting the Lord and just putting your entire Faith in Him because He can do wonders that we think is impossible.

I recommend this album especially for the Jaci fans. This is a good buy and definitely worth the pay. But I still hope that the next album will focus more on the ballads.
