Hi,
I'm finally making the move to spend the rest of my life with the girl I want to marry.
She helped me to gain my residency visa and I will be moving over to Guatemala in about 6-8 months time. I am fluent in Spanish and I currently have a degree in software engineering with my job currently being a computer programmer. How easy is it to get a job in computer programming/software engineering?
Regards,
Dave

Hi Dave,
Thanks for writing. Sounds like you have the paperwork in order, so there's nothing that I can see that would stop you from getting a job. You should be prepared for much lower wages (I wouldn't expect any more than $1000 USD per month). What would probably be more lucrative is if you could freelance with your skills through many of the online services such as elance, rentacoder, or flexjobs.com
Hope that helps, and good luck!
