Hotel San Carlos, in Zone 10 of Guatemala City, is a small hotel with just sixteen regular rooms and 4 suites. They also offer 3 full apartments for longer stays. All rooms are air conditioned and have a microwave, while the suites include kitchenettes. If you're not into cooking for yourself there is a restaurant in the hotel, as well, and room service is provided.

With high speed internet and a conference room, the San Carlos can double as a business hotel, but it does relaxation just as well. The rooms are huge and spacious and there's a swimming pool to relax in, with gardens all around. The hotel itself is quite charming and would look quite at home in the US, with its elegant windows and balconies.

The hotel is a place that you can really feel at home in. The pleasant staff are quick and efficient about their work, offering assistance where required and keeping the hotel neat and clean. While there are plenty of sights to be seen in the zone, as well as restaurants, bars, clubs and shopping centers, you could easily spend your vacation relaxing in the air conditioned room, watching cable television.
