Efrain Recinos passes away
Efrain Recinos, the master architect, artist, sculptor and much much more passed away after many productive years doing good for Guatemala. His masterpiece was the Gran Teatro Nacional, and his impact is seen in many major works all over Guatemala.
Oh yes He does - unless, of course, Manuelito does not follow up on his campaign promises - then he's going to be in trouble! Baldizon, one of two candidates who will be voted on for president in November, sees a break in the rain as God's favor (ok...) and promises, among other things, to keep giving away food (la bolsa solidaria), fertilizer, and tons of other things. We at All-About-Guatemala.com would loooove to know how he's going pay for these things...maybe by reducing the president's $18000/month salary? We'll see!
